More opportunities to learn to code

Did you know that by 2020, there will be 1.4 million jobs available in computing related fields, but that women are on track to fill just 3%?

Girls Who Code is a club for middle- and high-school aged girls interested in computer science that was founded with a single mission: to close the gender gap in technology.

If you’re in the Milwaukee-area – here’s an awesome opportunity for you with Girls Who Code, a nation-wide organization with a local program hosted at UW-Milwaukee. Make sure to sign up – registration opens August 1 and space is limited.

Not in the Milwaukee-area but interested in coding? Visit Girls Who Code for more information about events and how to learn more about coding.

We all know that Digital is the way of the future! If you’re interested in coding, this program is a great opportunity for you to learn more in another hands-on experience! And while this is not a GE program, there are many GE employees who support the initiative across the country.
