If you’re in the Milwaukee-area – here’s an awesome opportunity for you with Girls Who Code, a nation-wide organization with a local program hosted at UW-Milwaukee.
Did you know that by 2020, there will be 1.4 million jobs available in computing related fields, but that women are on track to fill just 3%? Girls Who Code is a club for middle- and high-school aged girls interested in computer science that was founded with a single mission: to close the gender gap in technology.

We all know that Digital is the way of the future! If you’re interested in coding, this program is a great opportunity for you to learn more in another hands-on experience! And while this is not a GE program, there are many GE employees who support the initiative across the nation.
